About
Coastline Pets is a small business I co-own with my wife—a creative outlet that lets me combine my love of illustration and digital painting with hands-on design work. From informative packaging to eye-catching and sleek booth displays, I use my graphic design skills to help bring our community-loved brand to life, both online and at expos. It’s a labor of love that reflects our shared passion for animals, creativity, and education.
Illustration
Each illustration is a celebration of the small, the strange, and the often-overlooked creatures we love. My work blends digital painting with natural history-inspired detail, resulting in designs that are both educational and expressive. These illustrations are used across our sticker collections, packaging, and promotional materials—helping bring our brand’s personality to life. From vibrant isopods and inquisitive snails to fungi-loving beetles and sleepy house cats, every piece reflects our deep appreciation for animals, nature, and curiosity.
Booth Design
Our booth is a true reflection of our brand—colorful, educational, and entirely handmade. Every piece of artwork on display, from stickers to signage, is illustrated and designed in-house, setting us apart from many vendors who rely on resold or outsourced designs. The layout is curated to invite curiosity and conversation, combining product education with eye-catching visuals. Whether it’s a first-time customer or a familiar face seeking us out, our booth offers a warm, immersive experience grounded in authenticity and creativity.
Packaging Design
Designed product packaging that balances form and function—combining visual clarity with accessible, science-based education. Each label was carefully crafted to reflect our brand’s personality while making information easy to understand for pet owners of all experience levels. From layout and typography to ingredient transparency and usage instructions, every element was considered to ensure our products not only stand out on the shelf, but also build trust through thoughtful, informative design.
Product Design
From vibrant lanyards and car coasters to notebooks, bookmarks, and more—each sublimation product is designed, illustrated, and pressed in-house. Every item starts with original artwork created by us, making these pieces truly unique among the sea of mass-produced or resold merch. Whether it’s a bold statement piece or a subtle nod to your favorite creature, our collection celebrates individuality, craftsmanship, and the joy of the reptile and invertebrate keeping hobby.
Animal Photography
Clean, consistent lightbox photography designed to highlight natural texture, color accuracy, and personality. Each shot is styled for optimal clarity and visual appeal, making it ideal for web and social media use. With careful lighting and composition, these images offer a professional, approachable look that supports both branding and audience engagement.
3D Modeling & Design
Using Fusion 360, I design and model custom components for both functional use and visual display. My work includes enclosure vents, invertebrate feeding dishes, and branded display pieces for our expo booth—each created with intention and tested for real-world application. These designs enhance both the care experience and customer presentation, blending utility with clean, purposeful aesthetics.
